Back in June my toy/wargame room I wrote a blog post about my toy/wargame room being taken over to store clothes etc., during the renovation of our main bedroom. That project is now complete, and as the hot weather has cooled somewhat, we have been able to clear the room of everything that was stored in there and I am able to use it again.
Hooray!
Here are some before ...
... and after photographs.

BOB,
ReplyDeleteYour hobby room is very neat and tidy- lots of storage spaces. Cheers. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteI had to tidy it up to get all the stuff that was going to be stored in it; it will soon get untidy again!
All the best,
Bob
Plenty of room there for a Portable Wargame or a Dominion game! And the temperature is slightly dropping, to make it all more bearable.
ReplyDeleteSteve,
DeleteVery true on both counts! We have a busy few weeks ahead, but once things have calmed down, I have several wargames that I want to fight.
All the best,
Bob
Yes, the wargaming room is always the first to go when extra storage is needed due to renovations ... I've been on a similar trajectory :-)
ReplyDeletePhil Dutré,
DeleteIt is a small price to pay for domestic harmony.
All the best,
Bob
And now, back to gaming! Good to see your space sorted out, I'm looking forward to seeing some of your recent ideas translated into games.
ReplyDeleteMark Cordone,
DeleteI have a busy time ahead of me, but once things calm down in the middle of August, I hope to get some serious wargaming done.
All the best,
Bob
Great news Bob, good to see your space back to normal.
ReplyDeleteDonnie McGibbon,
DeleteHopefully I’ll be using it on a regular basis sometime soon.
All the best,
Bob
Hooray indeed! An excellent space to carry on inspiring us fellow hobbyists.
ReplyDeleteTradgardmastare,
DeleteI have lots of things that I want to start working on, but I’m going to be busy for the next couple of weeks so I won’t be able to do much in there before the middle of next month.
All the best,
Bob
Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteLooking top-notch! Having a dedicated space reclaimed, tidied, and waiting for the next campaign is always a great feeling. Looking forward to seeing what gets onto the table first once your schedule clears up next month!
Cheers, Andy
Andrew Bruce (Andy),
DeleteIt’s great to have everything one needs to hand … and I hope to be using the room regularly from the middle of next month. I only wish that the room was just a little bit bigger!
All the best,
Bob
Much more tidy than my combined office / work room!
ReplyDeleteNeil
Neil Patterson (Neil),
DeleteDon’t worry, once I start painting and modelling it will soon take on a degree of untidiness!
All the best,
Bob
I feel your pain, Bob. My room is not finished yet and I've got loads of my daughters crap stored in there, so at the moment I can't carrying on getting it ready. Your room looks very prim and proper, I must say!
ReplyDeleteRay Rousell,
DeleteHow long before your room will ready for you to use? I had mine built when we had a loft conversion done nearly twenty years ago, but for the last three years my mobility problems and the room’s use for storage has prevented me for using it as much as I would like. Hopefully, this situation will change soon!
Good luck with getting your own room!
All the best,
Bob
Great to see you thinking about getting back to some games, Bob. Keep it up; you an inspiration to us all.
ReplyDeletePompey Dave,
DeleteI might have actually managed a battle this weekend … but I’m told that it’s going to get hot again!
All the best,
Bob
