I see that the larger squares make it a "Portable Wargame Board" rather than an "Arena". I suspect that this distinction may puzzle people who don't read your blog.

DeleteIn truth, I suspect that only people who read my blog or buy my books will even look at the catalogue for this item.
As for being influential in the wargames industry ... that I seriously doubt, but as Warbases are a small yet very efficient company, I think it is more a case of them seeing an opportunity to expand their range of products. If only other businesses were so forward thinking and responsive.
