I downloaded a copy of this issue to read on my flight back from the West Coast. We are planning on moving out there in the summer for my wife's job. They had mostly kind words for your book but I had fun reading the other articles. I LOVED the story about building retro sci-fi space ships. I'll have to do that myself. Combined with your ironclad rules, it seems like it would be possible (and fun) to make an outrageous Buck Rogers/Dan Dare space battle game with steampunk space ships. And here I am about to throw out my bits boxes for our impending move to California!
ReplyDeleteMr. Pavone,
DeleteGood luck with your move to California.
The review was a very fair one, and I’m hoping that it might generate a few more sales of the book.
It’s amazing what a half-decent spares box can yield up! For example, I’ve seen 1:48th-scale aircraft drop tanks turned into very interesting retro spacecraft.
All the best,
Bob
