Sue and I have spent the last ten days aboard P&O’s MV Ventura on a cruise that took us to Santander, Vigo, Lisbon, Porto, and Cherbourg. It gave us a much-needed break, but now it’s back to normal life. I’ll be writing about where we went and what we saw later this week … but first we have to do the unpacking and washing!

Bob,
ReplyDeleteGlad you both enjoyed your latest cruise on board the Ventura. I've lost count of the number of cruises you have done- We've been on three- to New Caledonia, New Zealand and a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam...all great memories for sure. Best Wishes. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteWe think that we’ve been on at least 75 cruises to date … but some of them were what are called back-to-back cruises where we stayed onboard after one cruise to go on the next.
All the best,
Bob
Hope you had a good time Bob.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes- Quinn
Glory to Ruritania (Quinn),
DeleteWe had a great time … and have come back very tired and at the same time, mentally recharged.
All the best,
Bob
Epic trip - Valerie Singleton was teh eye-catching moment for me and the Cherbourg batteries ;)
ReplyDeleteGeordie an Exiled FoG,
DeleteI only hope that I’m still that active and lucid when I’m 86-years old!
I could have spent much longer exploring the batteries and Utah Beach but time was limited.
All the best,
Bob
